Housekeeper at PPT Senior Living
This is a temporary summer position with a possibility of leading to permanent.
We are currently seeking a full time Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeping department overseas the cleaning of various apartments, common areas and assists with the laundry department.
Responsibilities for this role include
Clean rooms, hallway, restrooms, elevators and common areas
Dusting of furniture
Delivery of newspaper
Maintaining storage areas, stocking carts
Prepare and deliver clean linen
Other requirements
Professional and friendly
Requires standing, walking and bending
Must be able to push cleaning cart and lift mop bucket
Able to work independently and in a team
Must be flexible with scheduling hours and days
Must be able to provide RCMP background check
Social Development check is a requirement once an offer of employment is made
Must be fully flexible with scheduling including hours and days of the week
Bilingualism is an asset
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. There is one Saturday shift every 5 to 6 weeks.
Benefits follow after successful completion of probationary period. Pension after one year and upon permanent status.
