Fuel and Lube Technician at Levert
We are currently hiring Fuel & Lube Technicians to join our client’s team at a major open-pit gold mining operation in Northwestern Ontario.
This project is set to become one of Canada’s largest open-pit gold mines, with expected annual production of approximately 400,000 ounces over an initial 14-year mine life, with additional long-term underground potential.

Schedule & Travel
- 14 days on / 14 days off rotation
- 12-hour shifts (day and night rotation)
- Fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) – flights arranged and paid for
- Camp accommodations and meals provided

Job Summary
Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, the Fuel & Lube Technician is responsible for safely and productively operating an articulated fuel & lube truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the articulated fuel & lube truck in a safe and efficient way in accordance with all relevant legislation, company policies and procedures.
- Perform field level risk assessments.
- Clean and lubricate the motor grader; refill fluids.
- Complete logbooks and daily reports on safety issues and production.
- Use two-way-radio and horn signals to communicate with other operators and ensure safety.
- Maintain winter roads.
- Manage water.
- Monitor gauges, and other indicators to ensure the motor grader is working properly; report discrepancies.
Experience/Skillset Required
- 2+ years of experience as a fuel and lube technician at a mine site.
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience in operating an articulated offroad truck is an asset.
- Able to read, understand, and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to adapt and work in an inclusive work environment.
