About the role

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

is the provision of care that is respectful of, and responsive to individual patient/family preferences, needs, and values

Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, the Regional Diagnostic Imaging Referral Lead is essential to the

success of the TBRHSC and Regional Diagnostic Imaging programs. The Diagnostic Imaging Referral Lead

functions as the key resource for Diagnostic Imaging referral management at TBRHSC and Regional Diagnostic

departments. Supports data quality and maintenance of the Novari eRequest software applications across regional

hospital sites.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

  • Diploma in Office Administration, Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Previous adult education and program development, implementation and evaluation experience

Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize and meet deadlines, and work independently with members

the local and regional portfolio

  • Has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and foster relationships with individuals from various and

diverse backgrounds, both within and outside of organization

  • Is a self starter, has initiative required to act under minimal supervision, multitask and prioritize to meet various

deadlines.

  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Novari eRequest software, Microsoft Office Suite Programs, Meditech and e‑mail systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication aptitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Assets

  • Experience in regional health care with a working knowledge of local and regional health care systems.

Salary Range: $36.730 to 45.910
