Salary: $83,312.49 – $94,991.51 – Permanent Full-Time, based on a 35-hour work week.

An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.

An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.

About the Job

The Review Approval Resource Officer (Officer) provides management services, specialized support and technical expertise to project reviews and renders statutory decisions on industry proposals for complex oil and gas and other energy resources applications. The Officer holds delegated and designated approval authority under the Energy Resource Activities Act (ERAA) and its specific enactments. The incumbent assesses applications and ensures all legislative requirements and First Nations and stakeholder concerns are identified and addressed, as appropriate, prior to recommending the issuance of permits.
