    • Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule, including seasonal work
    • Transport materials and supplies
    • Perform snow removal
    • Complete mechanical maintenance on all equipment and fleet vehicles
    • Deliver and/or replace appliances and furniture in teacherages
    • Operate and maintain all division vehicles and equipment
    • Conduct facilities shop and yard maintenance
    • Perform welding and fabricating as required
    • Maintain a clean and tidy workshop
    • Complete building maintenance tasks as required
    • Submit required paperwork accurately and on time
    • Use Assetplanner to manage service requests
    • Assist co-workers and perform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    • Automotive or Heavy-Duty Service Technician certificate
    • Valid driver's license with heavy trailer endorsement
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Journeyperson trade
    • Minimum 2 years' experience operating a skid steer
    • CPR & First Aid Certificate (an asset)
    • valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
    Working Conditions
    • 8 hours per day
    • Heavy physical work (100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, 20 lbs constantly)
    • Extensive travel, including northern roads under adverse conditions
    • Overnight stays in various communities as required
