Position Summary

Temple Gardens Centre is currently seeking casual

Event Security personnel to join its security team.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50 - $16.00 CAD

Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching.

This position will remain open until September 18, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Secures all venue entrances.
• Performs bag checks and inspections.
• Ensures all public areas are a safe environment for patrons.
• Maintains a comprehensive security logbook.
• Submits fully detailed incident reports for all incidents.
• Enhances customer service.
• Shows commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Works flexible hours as required by event schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous security services experience would be an asset.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Exceptional problem-solving, judgment, and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to be assertive and influential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Courteous and professional manner.
• Strong team player.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours as required by event schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays.
