Role Overview
The Packaging Operator supports production operations by safely and efficiently packaging finished products and handling materials in accordance with established procedures. This role ensures product quality and accuracy through adherence to batch instructions, equipment operation, and proper documentation. The position contributes to operational efficiency by maintaining organized workflows, supporting waste management activities, and following established safety practices. Success in this role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift equipment and support material movement activities required for production and packaging operations.
- Package paint-related materials according to established batch tickets, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Operate packaging and milling equipment to support daily manufacturing activities.
- Maintain accurate production records and utilize computerized systems to support operational tracking and documentation requirements. Manage packaging-related waste materials, transfer finished products, participate in required quality and safety training, and perform additional assigned duties
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and operational requirements. Ability to maintain accurate records and support production documentation activities

- Prior manufacturing experience. Prior packaging experience
