Middle School Exploratories Teacher at MEI Schools

MEI is an independent Pre-K-12 school system with approximately 1600 students. All applicants must be dedicated to Christian education. Successful candidates are required to sign an MEI Staff Covenant indicating acceptance and agreement with MEI Schools' Christian values.

MEI Middle School is seeking qualified applicants for the following teaching position with the intended start date of September 2, 2026.

Exploratories Teacher 0.17 FTE

Subjects

• Character 6 - Part of a rotation of classes, focused on building character through observation as well as recognizing that one's character has an impact on others.
• Leadership 8 - Part of a rotation of classes, exploring leadership styles, emphasizing that everyone can lead from where they are.

Part-time temporary, one day per week, all on Wednesdays. Start date: September 2, 2026, to June 23, 2027

The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the 2026-2027 school year, a full-time BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from $69,050 to $113,295.
