Warehouse Manager at Core & Main

General Job Description

Oversees daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, inventory control, staff supervision, safety compliance, and coordination across departments/customers.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities; motivate and discipline staff.
• Schedule warehouse team and manage workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Track and coordinate receipt, storage, and delivery of goods and materials.
• Review orders, bills, received items, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Ensure maintenance standards, health & safety compliance, and daily inspections.
• Maintain and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers.

Minor Duties

• Maintain clean & safe work environment and optimize space.
• Assist with deliveries as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required; Associate’s preferred; Bachelor’s ideal.
• Experience: Prior Warehouse Supervisor or Manager experience required.
• Skills: Leadership, organization, multitasking, communication, problem‑solving.
• Other: Forklift license preferred; ability to work overtime; strong work ethic.
