We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators to support a water piping replacement project within an active operating facility.

At Ledcor, you’ll be part of a dependable crew focused on safety, teamwork and delivering quality results.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, loaders, telehandlers, excavators or articulating trucks in a safe and efficient manner

• Perform earthworks, material placement, trenching, grading, and backfilling according to project specifications

• Ability to work safely and in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment

• Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, and ground, and acts accordingly

• Step in on general construction tasks when needed—team-first mindset

• Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a variety of equipment including excavators, loaders, skid steers, telehandlers or articulating trucks

• Previous experience working in industrial construction/maintenance or pipeline maintenance is required

• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

• Good attention to detail with the ability to problem solve

• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies

• Valid driver’s license

Work Conditions

• Applicants who reside in Fort McMurray will be given preference due to the location of the project

• Camp accommodations available

• Living out allowance available

• 14 days on, 7 days off shift rotation working 12 hours per day

• Must be able to work day or night shifts
