Health, Safety & Training Administration Technician

Are you detail-oriented, enjoy structuring information, and want to contribute to a safe and engaging work environment? Join our Health & Safety (H&S) and Training team to play a key role in supporting our administrative activities related to safety and skills development!

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative follow-up for H&S and training activities: update documents, manage records, track mandatory training
  • Organize training sessions: invitations, registrations, logistics, payments, and trainer reception
  • Conduct daily H&S site walkthroughs to perform compliance audits, identify improvement areas, and suggest solutions
  • Collaborate with the H&S and Training team to support prevention and development initiatives
  • Compile data and produce reports to support decision-making and compliance
  • Maintain tracking tools (Excel spreadsheets, internal databases, etc.)
  • Participate in continuous improvement of administrative processes
  • Manage personal protective equipment (PPE): process employee requests, place orders, and follow up on supplier billing
  • Perform any other related tasks to support team objectives

What you bring

  • Education in administration or a related field
  • Experience in administrative support, ideally in H&S or training
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Team spirit and proactive attitude
  • Interest in field work and H&S audits
  • Fluency in French is required
    • Occasional interaction with English-speaking clients, suppliers, or colleagues in Canada and/or internationally
    • Consultation of documentation and tools available only in English
    • Other business situations where English may be useful but not essential
