District School Board Ontario North East is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA). Reporting to the Special Education Lead, the RBA is a key member of the Special Education interdisciplinary team,
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Registered as a Behaviour Analyst ("Authorizing Autonomous Practice") in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
- Master's Degree with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), with evidence of the knowledge and competencies required for autonomous practice through graduate-level education, supervised practice, and/or equivalent experience, including successful completion of peer assessment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence (The nature of the position will require the successful candidate to service a large geographical area).
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI); instructor designation is considered an asset.
- Experience working with the education system is an asset.
Compensation: $55.26 per hour, plus vacation pay %
