Postal Clerk at Neighbourly Pharmacy

Pharmasave #406 is looking for a part-time Postal Clerk to join our team in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Sort and batch incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on time
• Assist customers with mail-related inquiries and services
• Verify address accuracy, postage, and packaging requirements
• Process transactions such as selling stamps, receiving letters, and handling MoneyGram services
• Weigh and calculate postage for letters and parcels; affix the correct postage
• Operate computer systems for data entry and transaction processing
• Perform physical tasks, including bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying as needed
• Support the Front Store Manager and Store Operator with additional tasks as required

Qualifications

• Previous Post Office experience would be an asset.
• Accurate cash handling skills with strong computer and POS proficiency
• Previous customer service or cashiering experience preferred; retail and merchandising experience considered an asset
• Clear, courteous communication skills with the ability to manage conflict and solve problems effectively
• Strong multitasking abilities to serve multiple customers in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Professional demeanour, including appropriate grooming and wearing a name tag
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing tasks such as lifting and bending throughout the shift
• This position could include a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Criminal Record Check required

Schedule

• 20 hours per week (Part-time)
• Shifts are typically scheduled from Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
• Candidates should be flexible and available to work opening, daytime, and evening shifts as required.
