Job Purpose

Glacier FarmMedia (“GFM”) is a dynamic company in the Canadian agriculture industry that connects with farmers through a variety of regional and specialty media franchises, a listings marketplace for the sale of farm equipment, leading industry events like Ag in Motion and Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show and customized offerings for Weather and Market analysis and insights.

As an Account Services Representative, you will be a key contributor within a collaborative, cross-functional team. Reporting to the Account Services Manager, you will support sales representatives, coordinate with clients, and assist exhibitors and sponsors. The ideal candidate combines their commitment with other creative and technical expertise, including graphic design knowledge, proficiency with Sales Force CRM software, or experience managing digital advertising through Google Ad Manager.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a service-driven mindset, creative problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This will be a hybrid role with some work in the Winnipeg office and other work conducted in a remote home environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Act part of the collaborative Account Services team, this role acts as a primary point of contact for clients, exhibitors, and sponsors, ensuring timely communication, coordination of deliverables, and a high level of service.
  • Manage client accounts by supporting sales representatives, coordinating advertising campaigns across our publications and outdoor farm shows.
  • Set up new client accounts, process orders, maintain accurate account information, and ensure billing and contract details are correct in our CRM and Order management software systems.
  • May be asked to provide on-site support at major industry events, including Ag in Motion and Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, ensuring seamless execution and positive experiences.
  • The understanding of how print and digital assets are designed and use of tools of like Adobe InDesign are an asset in this role which supports the management of camera-ready print files to ensure all materials meet production and publishing specifications. Past work as a graphic designer would be a compelling background for this role if it was combined with a high commitment to customer service.
  • The understanding of digital advertising campaigns using Google Ad Manager, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, is also an asset when combined with a high commitment to customer service. Prior experience monitoring campaign performance, troubleshooting campaign issues, coordinate ad assets, and support optimization efforts for digital campaigns are all compelling experience.
  • This role can be a growth role to a sales role or to opportunities in fulfillment and operations. Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, account management, graphic design, or digital advertising.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Experience in media, publishing, advertising, or agriculture is an asset.
  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and knowledge of print production processes and digital design best practices are assets to this role.
  • Experience using Google Ad Manager or similar ad-serving platforms is an asset.
