Administrative Support IV - Outpatient Clinic Coordination at Alberta Health Services

The Administrative Support IV manages clinical information flow and provides clerical and clinic coordination support. Responsibilities include scheduling virtual and in-person appointments, coordinating across departments, and supporting clinic operations through template maintenance, clinic changes, and space coordination. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask under tight timelines are essential. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate appointments across multiple services. Perform template changes, overbooking, and schedule adjustments. Process clinic cancellations, add-ons, and provider changes. Update locations and maintain accuracy in Connect Care. Communicate clinic updates to interdisciplinary teams. Support clinic space coordination and workflow efficiency. Maintain clinic documentation and reports.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications
Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications
Grade 12 and completion of a Unit Clerk or MOA program. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage sensitive situations professionally. Connect Care experience is an asset. Oncology experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to perform light–medium physical tasks. Capacity for prolonged standing and walking.
