General Maintenance Worker / Building Labourer at Armco

About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented

General Maintenance Worker to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the property, apartment turnover preparation, and various maintenance and labour tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of interior and exterior common areas.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage garbage and recycling
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal and landscaping.
• Move and install equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Respond to basic resident service requests.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, construction, renovations, or general labour is considered an asset.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
• Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
