We are looking for a customer-focused Deli Bakery Team Associate to provide excellent service, maintain the bakery area, and assist with stocking and merchandising baked goods. This role is important for ensuring product quality and a great shopping experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• ​​Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.​
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.​
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.​
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.​

Pay: From $18.05 per hour
