landscape; one driveway, retaining wall, and snow route at a time. From high-end

design-build projects to large-scale property maintenance, our success is built on

precision, pride, and people who care about getting it right.

We’re now looking for a skilled and detail-obsessed Estimator to join our team,

someone who loves numbers, thrives on accuracy, and brings both experience and

curiosity to the table.

The Role

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our projects profitable, precise,

and on schedule. You’ll analyze designs, visit sites, price materials and labour, and

work closely with our project managers to ensure every quote reflects the quality

and efficiency Futurescape is known for.

You’ll work across a variety of sectors, landscape construction, snow and ice

management, and property development, giving you exposure to a full year-round

workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and blueprints to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope, accessibility, and conditions.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and professional estimates for both landscaping and snow operations.
• Develop pricing models (hourly, per-visit, per-inch, or seasonal) to suit different project needs.
• Collaborate with management to refine estimating systems, templates, and cost databases.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Track trends and opportunities for cost improvement or process efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating within landscaping, civil construction, or related trades.
• A Civil Engineering background (Degree or Diploma) is an asset but not a deal-breaker.
• Whether you’re a seasoned construction veteran who knows costs inside and out, or a technically trained estimator eager to grow into leadership we’re open to both.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills ,you enjoy the numbers, not just tolerate them.
• Proficiency with estimating and spreadsheet software; comfort with digital tools and systems.
• A genuine interest in technology and innovation someone ready to embrace the next generation of tools shaping our industry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset and commitment to quality work.
