.The Insurance Funding Coordinator ensures clients receive timely and accurate insurance funding by working with various agencies, coordinating necessary appointments, and maintaining clear documentation. This role supports both clients and internal teams by streamlining funding processes and ensuring compliance with agency requirements.

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You’d be coordinating with insurance providers to secure and renew funding approvals for clients.
  • You’ll keep a close eye on expiry dates and stay ahead by initiating renewals proactively.
  • A big part of the role is documenting everything accurately—communications and clinical notes—in the EMR system.
  • You’ll be the go-to person for client questions, responding to calls and emails in a timely, professional way.
  • You’ll work closely with internal teams to gather the information needed to keep things moving smoothly.
  • You’ll also connect with physician offices to collect any required documentation to support client care.

  • We’re looking for someone with experience in healthcare administration or insurance coordination.
  • You’re highly organized and a strong communicator, comfortable working with different stakeholders.
  • You’re confident using EMR systems and Microsoft Office in your day-to-day work.
  • You’re able to juggle multiple tasks and work independently without things slipping through the cracks.
  • Ideally, you have some post-secondary education in Health Administration or a related field.
  • Certifications like Medical Office Administration or Health Information Management are a nice bonus.
