First Nations Financial Markets (FNFM) is a majority First Nations-owned investment dealer in Canada, focused on assisting institutional clients in raising capital through equity and debt markets. As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will join a growing team and contribute to meaningful capital raising initiatives across various sectors.
Your Contribution
As a core member of the capital markets team, your work will directly impact clients,
investors, and our broader mission.
Your role will include:
- Supporting the execution of equity and debt offerings, private placements, and related
- capital markets transactions
- Preparing client-ready presentations and marketing materials
- Performing company, sector, and market research; monitoring daily market
- developments and investor sentiment
- Providing client and market analysis, preparing reports and presenting findings
- Building, auditing, and maintaining financial models
- Maintaining internal coverage materials and transaction databases
- Collaborating with partners, external counsel, and syndicate relationships to facilitate smooth execution

Your Skills And Experience
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in accounting, finance,
- commerce/business, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
- Anticipated graduation date between July 2027 and December 2027
- Strong academic performance; relevant internships, projects, or competitions are an asset
- Exceptional analytical ability and attention to detail; advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills
- Ability to concisely communicate complex concepts and ideas verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
