We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our Design and Construction Engineering Progression Program. This role offers a flexible hybrid work model, with a standard 35-hour work week. This program provides a structured career path for engineering professionals, encompassing roles at three key levels: Engineering Intern, Engineer, and Senior Engineer. This program is designed to develop technical skills, project management expertise, and leadership capabilities through hands-on project involvement, mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of capital projects, including water supply, wastewater, waste management, and transportation infrastructure.

Engineering Intern

Compensation: $83,556.20 - $104,431.60 annually

The Engineering Intern will support small-scale projects and components of larger projects by assisting with planning, design, and management under the supervision of senior staff. The role offers practical experience in preparing contract drawings, supporting property transactions, and providing technical assistance on construction sites. It is well-suited for recent graduates pursuing registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and looking to build foundational engineering competencies.

  • Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
  • Eligible for registration as an Engineering Intern with the PEO.

Engineer

Compensation: $102,130.20 - $127,654.80 annually

The Engineer will independently manage medium-sized projects and support senior engineers on more complex initiatives. They will be responsible for designing capital projects, managing budgets, directing technical staff, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or holding a Limited License with the PEO.

Senior Engineer

Compensation: $112,330.40 - $140,413.00 annually

The Senior Engineer will independently lead high-profile, large-scale projects and will be responsible for supervising multidisciplinary teams, engaging in high-level negotiations, and resolving complex project issues.

  • The same licensing requirements as the Engineer role, including a P.Eng. or Limited License with the PEO.
