Tasting Room Associate at Dirty Laundry Winery

Dirty Laundry Winery is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and self-motivated Tasting Bar Associates to join our Hospitality team for the 2026 season.

As part of our team, you will be working in a busy seasonal winery environment, welcoming guests, guiding tastings, sharing information about our wines, and helping create a fun and memorable experience for every visitor. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

We are looking for individuals who share our values of professional integrity, teamwork, positive attitude, accountability, and strong attention to detail.

This is a full-time seasonal position from July to October. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Gratuities are earned in addition to regular pay.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome guests and provide a positive, engaging tasting room experience
  • Guide guests through wine tastings while sharing the story of Dirty Laundry Winery, our wines, and the unique history that makes our property special.
  • Promote wine sales, merchandise, and wine club memberships
  • Process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Assist with stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and maintaining product displays
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional tasting bar and retail area
  • Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support efficient daily operations
  • Follow winery policies, procedures, and responsible service guidelines

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or winery experience is preferred
  • Basic wine knowledge is an asset, but training will be provided
  • Professional and polite demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting as needed
  • Serving It Right certification is required or must be obtained before starting
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
