You'll lead a high-impact team driving sales growth and profitability across our national retail partnerships. You'll work at scale, managing relationships across multiple strategic retail partners, coordinating national launches and campaigns that impact in-store execution, and aligning teams across marketing, product, and strategy to deliver a cohesive brand and sales strategy.

We're focused on standing out in competitive retail environments through better in-store experiences, smarter product placement, and stronger training and incentives for our partners' sales teams. You'll lead the strategy and execution that makes TELUS the partner of choice.

What you’ll do

Drive retail sales performance: You’ll lead sales growth across national retail accounts, focusing on product intensity strategies, upsell initiatives, and attach rate optimization at scale.

Own national account relationships: You’ll build and manage strategic partnerships with our national retail partners, aligning joint business plans, promotional execution, and in-store experience to deliver consistent results.

Ensure customer base retention: You’ll accelerate growth of HSIA, WHI, Optik TV, and SHS/SH+ attachments, and drive strategic renewal programs and multi-product attachment to retain and expand our customer base.

Optimize sales order quality: You’ll enhance profitability and yield through superior sales order quality and intensify PSO practices to boost Active Sellers, Productivity, and Velocity metrics.

Strengthen retail coverage: You’ll optimize both physical and virtual retail coverage, advancing virtual retail capabilities and ensuring TELUS is well represented across the national retail footprint.

Oversee channel governance: You’ll manage partner agreements, launch and scale new retail initiatives, and govern compliance and brand standards to enhance capability and performance.

Prioritize team growth: You’ll build an engaged, developed, and empowered team, focusing on their growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

What you bring

7+ years leading national retail or channel sales: Progressive experience in retail channel management, sales leadership, or related fields with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability at scale. Experience with enterprise retail organizations or dealer networks is a strong advantage.

Strategic & financial acumen: Ability to develop and execute multi-year retail strategies. Strong P&L management, financial modeling, and understanding of sales order quality, yield optimization, and compensation structure design. You know how to balance growth with profitability.

Telecommunications industry expertise: Deep knowledge of telecom offerings (wireless, wireline, bundled services) and the retail channel landscape. You understand partner compensation models, sales performance management, and how to align teams around service attachment and customer retentions

Master of strategic partnerships: You excel at building trust and alignment with national retail partners and influencing across internal functions (marketing, product, pricing, strategy). You're equally comfortable in a boardroom with a retailer's C-suite and in the field with frontline teams.

Great-to-haves

Industry knowledge: Robust telecommunications industry knowledge and a deep understanding of market dynamics and the competitive landscape.

Sales culture: Proven track record of driving strong sales behaviors and cultures that deliver consistent customer growth and measurable sales results.

Retail experience: Experience managing national retail or big-box partner relationships, and familiarity with Premier Sales Organization practices and methodologies.

Tech-savvy: Knowledge of virtual retail or field sales technology platforms and digital transformation in sales channels.
