We are looking for a Temporary Operations Manager, Common Registry Services (CRS) to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Common Registry Services (CRS) team is at the heart of ISC's registry operations, delivering critical services that support the reliability, integrity, and efficiency of our registries. As ISC continues to evolve and expand its service offerings, CRS is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation, including the introduction of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services and the evolution of responsibilities across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Registry Operations, the Operations Manager, CRS will play an important role in leading operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and guiding a high-performing team through change. This is an opportunity for a collaborative and adaptable leader to shape the future of the team while ensuring exceptional service delivery for internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the CRS team, ensuring delivery of service levels related to quality, timeliness, and customer experience
  • Support the successful implementation and ongoing operation of new services (e.g., IAM) and the transition of work within existing business units as required
  • Identify and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service delivery
  • Act as a people leader—supporting hiring, development, and engagement of a high-performing team through change
  • Provide clear, consistent communication to staff and stakeholders during periods of transition
  • Partner with Registry Operations leadership, Product, and corporate teams to align operational activities with evolving business priorities
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and contractual obligations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Office of Public Registry Administration (OPRA), internal and external audit teams).
  • Contribute to operational planning, resource management, and budget oversight

What You’ll Need

  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of four (4) years of progressive leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Education and/or experience in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or a related field, with an understanding of ISO standards.
  • Experience leading operations within a complex, service-oriented environment.
  • Experience overseeing regulatory, compliance, audit, or risk-based processes.
  • Experience and/or certification in Lean Six Sigma, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), or related methodologies is considered an asset.
