Your Role And Responsibilities

IBM X-Force Technology and Infrastructure team is looking for a senior DevSecOps engineer to support intelligence operations at scale that would combine aspects of operations, and/or cyber threat intelligence analysis. The individual will work with the IBM X-Force product and services team to develop and integrate custom internal security tools; in an agile, collaborative environment, addressing both technology and infrastructure concerns.

Candidates should demonstrate background in computer science or engineering and an interest in software development and/or IT operations. Our ideal candidates must demonstrate technical and problem-solving skills, a passion for technology and software, teamwork skills, and leadership potential. Candidates must be able to work on a remote team in a driven environment and exhibit creative thinking and collaboration. They should have the ability to turn ideas into reality, communicate effectively, and work closely with others in teams around the world. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate complex material to a range of audiences.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Experience with microservices architectures such as Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Experience with Cloud Environments such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure
• Experience with CI/CD such as Jenkins, Travis, ArgoCD
• Experience with containerized applications such as Docker
• Experience with IAM/Oauth services
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with programming languages like Python, Bash, Perl
• Experience with Linux/MACOS/*nix systems
• Experience with Networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with scalable architecture design

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience with relational databases such as mySQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with non-relational databases such as Elasticsearch, Redis
