Processing Assistant (Job 337) at Ontario Universities Application Centre
Job Type: Full-time, 6-month hourly contract with no benefits (September 2026 to March 2027)

The OUAC is seeking a Processing Assistant to input applicants’ information into the computer system and provide support to the departments.

Job Responsibilities
- Convert academic grades provided on transcripts to a standard scale and calculate an overall Grade Point Average
- Receive, batch, scan and index documentation (e.g., transcripts, references, supplementary forms) for professional programs
- Correct errors on applications as identified on error reports
Qualifications Sought
- Three years’ relevant experience in administrative services or a related field
- Knowledge of various software programs e.g,. Microsoft Office, as well as other database and Internet tools
Abilities/Skills for the Ideal Candidate
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to explain information in a clear, concise and consistent manner
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Diplomacy, tact, patience, high attention to detail, and professionalism
Hours of Work
- Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, for a total of 32 hours per week. (Note: Work hours can be made flexible and can be discussed during the interview process)
- Contract covers September 2026 to early March 2027 and is paid by hours worked
- Hybrid remote work arrangements may be considered after the probationary period
