Préposé buanderie at Germain Hôtels

The smell of clean laundry always puts you in a good mood.

We're looking for a caring laundry attendant who loves immaculate whiteness. This member of our team ensures the comfort and well-being of our guests by maintaining their bedding. He/she respects safety and hygiene regulations and works with a positive attitude to maintain a pleasant, clean and safe working environment day after day.

Please note that the schedule for this position is from 22:00 p.m. to 6:00 am

What You'll Do

• Receive, sort and inspect (stains, wear, damage) used bedding.
• Fill and activate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
• Fold, hang and stack clean linen items in an organized manner to facilitate retrieval and distribution.
• Iron items as necessary to maintain a neat appearance.
• Ensure the storage and rotation of clean linen and the organization of facilities by monitoring inventory levels and reporting any malfunctions.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience in a similar position or in the hotel industry, an asset
• Good physical fitness: standing for long periods and ability to bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and collaborating as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays, as required
