Student Support Administrator
St. Mary's Catholic High School, Woodstock
Permanent Full-time 1.0 FTE – twelve-month (12) position

The Student Support Administrator is subject to the direct supervision of the Principal and Office Supervisor. Daily work is scheduled by the Office Supervisor with the direction of the Principal. The Student Support Administrator is knowledgeable about the entire operation of the school, procedures, confidentiality of student records, and Ministry directives. Work is often performed independently within the prescribed policies and regulations. The emphasis of the work is upon maintaining effective public relations with students, staff and school visitors while operating a functional and efficient office and ensuring the protection of personal information and confidentiality.
This position is available to fill an existing vacancy within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Office Administration diploma/certificate or equivalent
- Proven knowledge and experience with Student Management software (Powerschool) functionality applicable to secondary school needs and Microsoft Office software, with advanced word processing skills
- Ability to maintain the confidential nature of the position
- Excellent knowledge of policy and Ministry rules associated with OSR’s and OST’s.
- Excellent organization, communication and human relation skills
- Proven ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent record management skills
- Ability to manage time, set priorities and function in a multi-task environment
- Minimum one year secondary school secretarial experience required
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: $29.19 to $31.50 (Commensurate with experience)
