General Help Part Time at Prince Albert Correctional Center at Compass Group Canada
Participates with or without inmates in the preparation and assembly of meals by performing duties such as:
- Wash, peel, and cut of fruit and vegetable as prep schedule
- Cook or pan potatoes as per prep schedule
- Count, weigh and measure ingredients for assigned food production area
- Keep record of cook products in the food bank. Use FIFO method in moving out the food to tray assembly area
- Prepare and serves beverages
- Assist in production of special diets
- Prepare vegetable and desserts as per prep schedule
- Assemble sandwiches and salads
- Portion meal trays and special diet trays as per meal schedule
- Load, deliver, collect and unload meal service carts to the pods
- Strip down carts and trolleys and wash dishes/pots
- Maintain storage areas in a clean and orderly manner
- Work efficiently and handle all equipment and products safely
Performs any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management in a suitable timeframe.
Must be able to work weekends.
