Graphic Designer at Ventana Construction Corporation
Position Summary
As a Graphic Designer you play a pivotal role in bringing the Ventana brand to life through compelling visual storytelling and thoughtful design. You are the primary creative resource within the marketing team and are responsible for developing a wide range of high-quality visual communications that support marketing initiatives, business development pursuits, internal communications, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you enjoy balancing a high volume of diverse projects across digital, print, and video formats while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and craftsmanship.
This position is best suited to a design professional who draws satisfaction from doing a large number of varied, technically sound projects with precision and reliability. The successful candidate will be someone who takes ownership of their output, adapts readily to shifting priorities, has a high capacity for throughput, and understands that consistent execution is the hallmark of a dependable team member.
As a Graphic Designer your key accountabilities will involve:
- Producing high-quality design output across a wide range of formats, including business documents, marketing collateral, print-ready files, digital content, signage, and client-facing materials.
- Designing, building, and maintaining branded Microsoft Office templates and assets, ensuring a professional and consistent standard across Word, PowerPoint, and Teams platforms.
- Supporting the development of proposals, presentations, and project-related collateral that accurately reflects the organization and meets client expectations.
- Producing visual assets for social media and internal communications, including static and carousel posts, and contributing to short-form video editing and formatting.
- Ensuring brand consistency is maintained across all deliverables, with the ability to adapt creative output for different audiences, channels, and formats.
- Applying a thorough understanding of both digital and print production requirements, ensuring all deliverables are technically sound and issue-free prior to distribution or submission.
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager to plan and prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and support the execution of broader marketing and business development activity.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with the Marketing Manager, business development team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and work progresses efficiently.
- Building trust through consistent, reliable output and a collaborative approach that supports the broader goals of the marketing and business development functions.
As a Graphic Designer your experience and qualifications will include:
- A minimum of five years of professional design experience, developed within a corporate, business-focused or in-house environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with strength in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office design, including the creation and refinement of Word templates, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Proven ability to prepare and manage print-ready files to industry standards, including knowledge of bleed, colour modes, resolution, and vendor specifications.
- A professional portfolio that reflects breadth of capability, encompassing corporate documents, presentations, print materials, and digital content rather than purely conceptual work.
- Experience producing and customizing assets to support marketing and internal communications initiatives, including social and digital platforms and short-form video.
- Demonstrated initiative and taking ownership of your work, advancing multiple projects in parallel with confidence and without the need for ongoing direction
- Maintaining organization and composure while managing multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and varied stakeholder requirements.
- Producing purposeful, on-brand design that serves its intended business objective and is executed to a consistently high standard of accuracy and detail.
- Experience within construction, trades, real estate, or a related sector, considered an asset but not required.
- A diploma or degree in design preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
