Compliance Student at OLG
Location: Sault Ste. Marie or Toronto (Onsite)

Range: $18.50 - $28.50
We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to support and execute tasks smoothly and diligently, while also contributing to the completion of tasks outlined in the fiscal work plan.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Sr Ethics & Compliance Manager, you will be empowered to:
- Support Compliance Projects: Help update procedures and assist with compliance-related tasks like risk assessments and policy reviews.
- Assist with Reporting: Help prepare compliance reports, reporting dashboards and build trackers using Excel or Python to make reporting easier and faster.
- Participate in Team Meetings: Attend meetings to learn about compliance risks and trends, take notes, and help share updates with the team.
- Help with Monitoring Activities: Support testing and monitoring tasks across different business areas like digital, lottery, and Land Based Gaming.
- Work with Data: Run reports from data systems and help automate processes using Excel or Python to save time.
- Document Processes: Assist in creating and improving process maps and documentation for compliance workflows.
- Support Governance Tasks: Work closely with the governance manager on reporting and tracking compliance issues.
- Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to support their compliance activities. Assist in monitoring any compliance or regulatory audit issues and provide help in developing remediation plans
Education & Experience
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with a focus in Business, Analytics, Technology, or related field
- An aptitude for learning on the job
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use critical thinking to inform effective decision making
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment that requires comfort with ambiguity
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience or working knowledge with tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI and Pivot Tables
