• Coach and support several development teams to improve delivery velocity;
• Identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize the development cycle;
• Design, develop, test and support software engineering-related products;
• Define and promote methods, development patterns and technological choices;
• Implement and evolve test automation practices;
• Ensure the application of best practices in development, data management and security;
• Represent the teams to management and internal or external partners;
• Act as a technical mentor and disseminate industry best practices;
• Experiment, document and supervise technical solutions to ensure their sustainability.

The Profile You Are Looking For Is As Follows

• Experience as a Tech Lead or technical leader in a software development environment;
• Master the software development cycle (SDLC) as well as continuous improvement approaches;
• Experience in designing, developing, testing and operating software solutions;
• Apply test automation practices such as TDD, BDD, functional and non-functional testing;
• Know the best practices for secure development and software quality;
• Demonstrate the ability to influence, coach and coach multiple teams simultaneously;
• Collaborate effectively with teams of software architecture consultants;
• Knowledge of concepts, tools and practices related to artificial intelligence (an asset);
• Experience with the Genesis/Amber (EIS) platform (an asset);
• Knowledge of DGAG solutions related to auto insurance (an asset);
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (an asset);
• Be available to join a resource bundle (an asset).

This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
