Senior Account Manager at Park Landscaping
Join the Park Opportunity Garden
At Park, we believe a world-class landscape starts from the ground up—and that includes our team. We don’t just offer jobs; we provide a fertile space where you can plant your ambitions and watch them bloom. Our culture is built on a simple philosophy: When we invest in you, you invest in us.
The "Opportunity Garden" Framework
We’ve designed our employee experience around three core pillars to ensure you don’t just work—you flourish:
- NURTURE: We Get It – We provide a supportive environment built on Integrity & Trust. Your wellbeing is our priority; we focus on Working Safe & Working Smart to create a frictionless environment with the tools you need to succeed without the burnout.
- GROW: Building Capacity – We don’t leave your career to chance. Through our Employee Success initiative, we provide intentional growth plans, training, and resources to expand your skillset. If you have the ambition, we provide the ladder.
- THRIVE: You Want It – This is where your "Can-Do" Attitude meets Empowerment. We trust you to be a problem-solver with the autonomy to tackle challenges head-on. We take pride in the tangible "before and after" of our labor.
The Role: Senior Account Manager, Grounds Management
We can teach you how to manage a contract, but we can't teach real, boots-on-the-ground landscaping expertise. If you have a deep background running commercial landscaping crews, managing field operations, and mastering grounds maintenance, this is your opportunity to step into a strategic corporate role without losing your connection to the field.
In this role, you will be the primary link between our field operations and our clients' property goals. Because you understand the real-world operational challenges of grounds maintenance, you will be uniquely equipped to ensure service excellence, build authentic client trust, and optimize portfolio health.
Your Daily Impact
- Field Presence & Operational Advocacy: Maintain a highly visible presence across your assigned portfolio, conducting routine site reviews to audit quality, catch service deficiencies, and identify real-time property needs.
- Bridging the Gap: Collaborate closely with Division Managers, Field Supervisors, and crews to align daily field operations and scheduling with contract scopes and client expectations.
- Client Relationship Development: Serve as the trusted, practical point of contact for clients, resolving operational issues quickly and restoring confidence through your technical landscaping expertise.
- Portfolio & Contract Growth: Use your field eye to spot property upgrade, enhancement, irrigation, and seasonal service opportunities, coordinating with our team to build and present simple proposals.
- Technical Systems Leadership: Utilize industry-specific management systems (Aspire) to track property data, manage service take-offs, and ensure our digital scheduling matches our fieldwork.
The Essentials for Growth (KSAs)
To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:
- Knowledge: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial landscaping, grounds maintenance, or property services, with a deep technical understanding of field workflows, plant health, and Alberta's seasonal demands.
- Experience: Proven experience leading landscaping crews, supervising field operations, or running grounds maintenance divisions. Prior account management or sales experience is an asset, but NOT required—we will train the right operational leader.
- Abilities: Ability to transition seamlessly between field site inspections and professional office communication; a strong "can-do" problem-solving mindset; and a valid driver’s license for regular portfolio travel.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Competitive Base Salary: Based on experience and reviewed annually.
Health & Dental Benefits: Access to our comprehensive group benefits plan.
RRSP Matching Program: A company-matched contribution plan to support your long-term financial goals.
Incentives: Eligibility for performance-based bonuses and incentive programs offered at the Company’s sole discretion.
Tools for Success: High-performance IT hardware, access to a modern corporate tech stack, and the mobile or vehicular resources needed to lead, connect, and execute seamlessly. Ready to Branch Out? Your Future Starts Here At
