0.5 LTO Chippewa Intermediate School at Near North District School Board

The NNDSB invites applications for the following LTO position commencing September 2, 2026 until the early return of the teacher.

Position

• Indigenous Grad Coach

Required teaching qualifications

• A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
• A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Intermediate Qualifications

Position Criteria

• Knowledge of Indigenous traditional teachings, cultures, perspectives, values, and history, and a connection to Indigenous community
• Awareness of local Indigenous community resources and ability to connect students and families to these resources
• Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
• Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
• Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
• Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
• Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work ·
• Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
• Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
