About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and safety‑minded Truck Driver to join our Victoria Team (Monday–Friday, 7:30am.– 4:00pm)! At Great Little Box Company, our drivers are home every night—no overnight trips required. Our fleet has a Box Truck and 53' Tractor Trailer, this role would support the operation of both vehicles to best service our customers.

As a Great Little Box Company Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivery of our custom manufactured packaging products to our customers in a safe and professional manner. You are an integral part of our Victoria Team that is passionate about providing exceptional customer service to our Vancouver Island customers. Our drivers place high value on great service, going the extra mile and on-time delivery. Compensation

• The typical hiring range for this position is $26.00-29.00/hour depending on level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Load truck daily with forklift or pallet jack for deliveries per schedule
• Deliver product to customers daily
• Prepare paperwork and ensure proper sign offs when delivering product
• Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
• Deliver product on time and accurately while ensuring safe and responsible driving
• Maintain daily vehicle logs
• Follow truck maintenance guidelines

Qualifications And Skills

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
• Knowledge of routes in Greater Victoria and up to Nanaimo
• Able to drive 5 Ton and tractor trailer combo
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Team player with excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
• Forklift experience as asset
• Ability to perform minor repairs on truck an asset
• Some warehouse experience a benefit
• Open to flexible hours and overtime if necessary (no weekends)
• Will be required to provide a copy of Driving Abstract
