We are Homura Yakiniku Japanese BBQ Restaurant at Broadway location (201, 950 Broadway ) and we are currently hiring for front of house - Server part-time 2-3 days positions. Available Positions:

• Server (Front of House)

Requirements for Server

• Previous serving experience preferred (restaurant experience an asset).
• Intermediate level of English communication (speaking, reading, and understanding).
• Friendly, professional, and attentive to customer needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and storage.
• Support front-of-house staff by helping with customer service when needed, including taking orders or serving food.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
• Help manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to management.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to food preparation and safety practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for hospitality and providing an excellent dining experience for guests.
