Are you a family physician with a passion for obstetrics? Port Moody Maternity Clinic is looking to expand our team, and we’d love to welcome new colleagues who share our commitment to providing exceptional maternity care.

Our clinic offers a supportive environment, including a dedicated nurse, friendly front staff, two exam rooms, and a physician’s office. We use OSCAR for our EMR, and we have both clinic shifts and labor and delivery call opportunities at Royal Columbian Hospital.

We’re especially in need of physicians interested in providing 2-3 days of 24-hour call per month throughout 2025. We’re flexible with clinic shifts, whether it’s one half-day a week or two full days per month.

Overhead for locums is capped at $100 per delivery (up to 2 per shift, excluding scheduled cesareans). Additionally, for those new to maternity care, we’re pleased to support physicians in completing the Maternity Care for BC (MC4BC) program, which provides funding and mentorship to gain hands-on experience with up to 20 supervised deliveries. You’ll be paired with one of our current physicians for guidance and support.
