As our next
Powder Blender, you will be responsible for accurately mixing metal powders for production parts according to defined specifications. This role is critical to ensuring material quality, process consistency, and safe production while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating powder mixers, screens, and re‑grinders
- Applying working knowledge of Powder Metallurgy processes
- Accurately weighing materials using digital scales per work instructions
- Performing basic cleaning and maintenance of dust collection systems
- Testing powder blends to ensure compliance with specifications
- Completing daily compact scrap and regrind tally sheets
- Following all safety regulations, including proper chemical handling and use of required PPE
- Ensuring compliance with Quality Management and Environmental Health & Safety systems
- Supporting 5S, SPS, and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities
- Performing other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Post‑secondary education in a related field is an asset
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
- Valid forklift / lift truck license
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail with solid basic math skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, attendance, and production standards
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently or in a team
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Work Environment
- Indoor manufacturing setting with noise and variable temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (assistance available)
- Prolonged standing and walking required
- Shift work including nights and continental schedules may be required
- Overtime may be required
