The Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by managing client relationships, processing orders, and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. This position is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the food industry.

Our client is a well known importer, wholesaler of premium quality frozen seafood products. They have a global presence and have been in this business for 25+ years.
Description
Own day-to-day execution for key accounts (approx. 90% tier 1 retail customers) and drive PO/inventory/delivery/sample coordination to keep contract programs running smoothly and customers well-informed.
- Key Account Execution: Support contracted key accounts with order execution from PO intake to internal coordination and shipment/delivery follow-up.
- Inventory & Replenishment Visibility: Track allocations, procurement/production progress, and on-hand/in-transit inventory-especially retail private label inventory.
- Optimize Tier 1 Order Flow And Inventory Depletion: Expertly negotiating delivery timelines, product alternatives, and promotional pushes during supply chain disruptions, while utilizing proven escalation strategies to hold customers accountable to committed PO schedules.
- Internal & Customer Updates: Provide accurate, consistent status updates to Sales and customers on inventory, production, deliveries, and next steps.
- Delivery Tracking & Issue Resolution: Monitor lead times and delivery performance; flag risks early (delays, shortages, packaging changes) and propose solutions before escalating.
- Sample Management: Coordinate sample requests end-to-end, track delivery and feedback, and maintain a clear sample pipeline.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and QA to keep key milestones on track.

Profile
- Overall, 3+ years of experience in sales coordination / order management / supply chain coordination (food/CPG sector preferred).
- Experienced managing national retail accounts, including Sobeys, Metro, Loblaws, Costco, Walmart, Save-On-Foods, or major US national retail banners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail, understanding of teamwork and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive client relationships.
- Bilingual ( English and Mandarin or Cantonese)
Job Offer
- Competitive base salary ranging from $70000 to $80000 CAD.
