Business Application Specialist at Indigo Park Canada
The Business Application Specialist is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing business applications that enable organizational operations and strategic objectives. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring applications are effectively implemented, maintained, and aligned with business requirements. The specialist provides system administration, user support, process improvement recommendations, and project delivery support.
Key Responsibilities
Application Management
- Administer, maintain, and support business applications
- Monitor application performance and reliability.
- Coordinate software upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and system enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through technology solutions.
- Document workflows, procedures, and system configurations.
User Support & Training
- Provide support to end users.
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions.
- Create and maintain user guides and knowledge base documentation.
- Assist users with system adoption and best practices.
Project Delivery
- Participate in application implementation and enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and technical teams.
- Support testing activities, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational needs.
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams.
- Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
- Participate in governance and change management activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years or more of experience at Indigo Park Canada
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with software implementation and system integrations
- Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly
- Exposure to reporting tools or databases
- Experience participating in projects, testing, or process improvement projects.
