The Research Assistant will:
Work with Principal Investigator and team to develop relevant system for presenting research data
Work with graduate RA to prepare infographics or other community-facing knowledge mobilization materials
Assist with preparations for knowledge mobilization events and activities.
Be present at knowledge mobilization events to support
Conduct copyright search for images for project website and identify suitable images
Attend team meetings (virtual)
Communicate with other RAs
Possibility to assist with research interviews
Possible preparation of social media and other materials for online presentation
Qualifications Required (skills and abilities, education, language skills):
Experience working in Black Studies and on Black Studies research and research involving Black communities mandatory
Excellent written, communication, organizational, and collaboration/teamwork skills
Experience in such projects or working with Black communities an asset
Bilingual (French-English) an asset
