What You'll Be Doing

  • Own copy across every customer touchpoint, including email, paid media, website, packaging, SMS, in-app messaging, social, and print.

  • Lead campaign concepts in partnership with the Creative Manager, bringing a strong language-led creative perspective from brief to launch.

  • Write both brand storytelling and performance marketing copy across awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention campaigns.

  • Translate strategy into clear, compelling messaging tailored to different audiences, channels, and funnel stages.

  • Collaborate closely with designers to ensure copy and visuals work together as one creative idea.

  • Own and evolve Fresh Prep's brand voice, messaging frameworks, and writing guidelines.

  • Partner with Brand, Growth, Product Marketing, Culinary, and Customer Experience teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.

  • Help shape positioning, naming, launch messaging, and storytelling for new products and initiatives.

  • Build scalable writing tools and frameworks that enable strong communication across the business.

  • Stay curious about food, culture, creative performance, and emerging trends to continuously improve our work.

What We Are Looking For

This role is for someone who genuinely loves words and food. You're equal parts strategist and craftsperson, capable of developing big campaign ideas while obsessing over the details that make great copy memorable. You bring a strong point of view, thrive in collaborative creative environments, and know how to write work that performs without sacrificing the brand.

  • 7+ years of copywriting experience in-house, agency-side, or a combination of both.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft across both brand storytelling and performance marketing.
  • Proven ability to write for multiple channels, formats, and audience segments while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Strong conceptual thinking with experience developing campaigns from idea through execution.
  • Experience creating messaging frameworks, brand voice systems, or positioning for consumer brands.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management skills.
  • French fluency is considered a strong asset but is not required.
  • A genuine passion for food, branding, and creating customer experiences that inspire people to eat well.
