QA Analyst at Affinity
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a QA Analyst to support testing across application functionality, integrations, data migration, reporting, performance, and deployment while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall QA strategy, testing approach, and test plans.
- Review business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and technical designs to ensure testability.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.
- Identify automation opportunities and develop reusable automated test suites.

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, integrations, and critical business processes.
- Validate integrations with enterprise systems.
- Data migration

- Support production deployment validation and post-deployment verification.
- Record, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to validate fixes.
- Monitor testing progress and provide QA status reporting.
- Participate in risk identification and quality assurance activities.
- Support SIT, UAT, operational readiness, and hypercare.
- Prepare QA sign-off recommendations for production deployment.
- Participate in workshops, demos, stakeholder meetings, and knowledge transfer sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of software QA or software testing experience.
