Aquatic Facility Manager at Making Waves Swim School (CANADA)
"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." - Winston Churchill
At Making Waves Swim School, that idea isn't a poster on the wall - it's the job. Every day, our team gives kids one of the most essential life skills there is, and gives our staff the mentorship, guidance, and belief they need to become remarkable people. We're looking for a leader who wants to do both.
This isn't a behind-the-scenes management role. You don't own the manager's office - you own the entire facility, pool deck included.
You'll spend your days delivering a remarkable client experience yourself - on the pool deck, walking the lobby, coaching your team, engaging with families, high-fiving kids, and handing out compliments every chance you get. You get what you give.
And more than that, you'll be shaping lives. You'll grow the humans on your team into confident, capable leaders - and they'll pass that same confidence on to every swimmer, turning a life-saving skill into a lifelong one.
Why This Role Is Different
Making Waves is one of the largest privately owned swim schools in Canada, and we have big plans to grow into new markets. We're building something that hasn't been done here before - and we're doing it as a small, tight-knit team that moves fast and cares deeply.
That means this is a rare opportunity. You won't be dropped into a box and told to stay in it. You'll have real input on how we grow, how we improve, and how we scale. Your ideas will matter. Your fingerprints will be on what this company becomes.
We bring playoff energy to what we do - focused, all-in, and determined to get better every single day. We're not the biggest name in the league yet, but we're building something that can be - and we want a leader who competes with heart to help us get there. Think 2026 New York Knicks or better yet…2019 Toronto Raptors. Invest in talent and take home the trophy.
