Associate Lawyer at Synectics Inc.

We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to join a growing boutique law firm in Kamloops, BC. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer looking to build a long-term practice while gaining exposure to real estate, corporate/commercial, and wills & estates matters within a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a variety of real estate, corporate/commercial, and wills & estates matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, agreements, and transactional materials
• Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions
• Support corporate transactions, incorporations, reorganizations, and commercial matters
• Prepare wills, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents
• Manage files from intake through completion while maintaining excellent client service
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of call to the British Columbia Bar (more experienced candidates will also be considered)
• Experience or strong interest in Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial Law, and Wills & Estates
• Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and interested in developing a long-term practice in Kamloops
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
