Power Platform and SharePoint Developer at OXARO Inc.

Location: Victoria, BC (Remote with occasional on-site meetings)

Duration: 2 years + 2 one-year option periods

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web-based software applications and modules in a team environment to meet performance, scalability, architectural, quality, and business requirements.
• Build and enhance applications and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Develop, migrate, and configure SharePoint Online sites to modernize and optimize business processes and make optimal use of Microsoft 365 capabilities.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using software development best practices. Create website layouts and user interfaces using standard HTML and CSS practices.
• Develop Oracle databases and PL/SQL code to support web applications and websites. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. Create and maintain software and solution documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate content migration activities, including incident handling and rollback decisions.
• Administer SharePoint sites, including permissions management.
• Provide technical enablement, including solution walkthroughs and guidance on administering and modifying solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Programmer/Software Developer developing web-based applications with an Oracle database, demonstrated through complex projects.
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing websites using ASP.NET, C#, and JavaScript.
• 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio or Azure DevOps.
• 4+ years of experience developing Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c, and 21c databases, including PL/SQL programming, covering design, coding, testing, debugging, and related documentation.
• 4+ years of experience with web technologies, including JavaScript and frameworks (Angular, Vue, React), JSON, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful API development and integration.
