KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Supervisoris responsible forensuring ATCOEnPower ’ sHeartland facilitiesoperatesafely, reliably and in compliance with commercial,regulatoryand operational requirements.

The role provides day-to-day leadership to operational teams, supports planned and unplanned facility activities, and works with Maintenance, Technical Services, Commercial Operations/Marketing, Regulatory, Health & Safety, and Project Execution to meet business and customer commitments.

All responsibilities are performed in alignment with ATCO’s values of Caring, Integrity, Collaboration, Agility and Health & Safety, andin accordance withestablished health, safety and environment principles, corporate policies,proceduresand applicable legislation.

Ability to travel to remote sites and corporate offices (typically 10–20%).

Responsibility Area #1 – Facility Operations

  • Oversee the safe,reliableand compliant operation of wells, caverns, pipelines, pumps, processequipmentand facility systems.
  • Direct operationalteams tomeet commercial obligations and operational performance targets.
  • Monitor plant operations to confirm equipment and processesoperatewithin design parameters and internal procedures.
  • Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities to limit operational interruptions.
  • Work with Maintenance, Technical Services and Project Execution on planned outages, sustaining capital work and operational readiness activities.
  • Coordinate with Commercial Operations and Marketing to support contract commitments and respond to customer feedbackin a timely manner.
  • Implement and sustain the tools and systemsrequiredin Operations, including Maximo,FieldSafe, Intelex, the Learning Management System,DeltaVand PI.
  • Provide operational input into asset management strategies and reliability improvements.
  • Ensure employees follow internal procedures, regulatoryrequirementsand integrity management systems.

Responsibility Area #2 – Budgeting, Cost Management & Reporting

  • Develop,monitorand manage assigned operations and maintenance budgets.
  • Review and approve expenditures in alignment with corporate policies.
  • Manage costs toidentifysafe savings opportunities without increasing operational risk.
  • Support data collection,analyticsand dashboard reporting for Operations Management and Senior Leadership.
  • Communicate key information to management and frontline employees to support alignment and transparency.

Responsibility Area #3 – Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Service

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Maintenance, Engineering, Commercial Operations/Marketing, Regulatory and Project Execution.
  • Provide an operational perspective to balance business needs, customercommitmentsand commercial requirements.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers, landowners, serviceprovidersand government agencies where applicable.

Responsibility Area #4 – Health, Safety & Environment

  • Demonstrate visible safety leadership and reinforce a safe and psychologically safe work environment.
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with HSE policies, procedures and applicable regulations, including ABSA requirements where applicable.
  • Participate in safety programs, initiatives, inspections,auditsand continuous improvement activities.
  • Work with Health & Safety to align operational practices with ATCO requirements andidentifyopportunities to improve safety performance.
  • Participate in the Emergency Response Plan as a member of the Incident Command Team.
  • Meet all applicable OHS employee and employer requirements.

Responsibility Area #5 – Leadership, Team & Culture

  • Attract, onboard,retainand offboard talent in alignment with HR processes.
  • Coach, mentor and support direct reports, including emerging leaders.
  • Establish and communicate SMART goals aligned with corporate strategy and hold employees accountable for results and behaviours.
  • Build team capability through a Learning & Development andcompetencyframework.
  • Encourage open,honestand transparent two-way communication.
  • Empower employees to make thoughtful, data-supported decisions within the scope of their role.
  • Support frontline employees in framing,prioritizingand executing improvement ideas.
  • Ensure direct reports understand performance expectations, developmentplansand evaluation processes.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Technical diploma in 3 rd Class Power Engineering
  • 15+ years experience in energy sector operations or maintenance; storage facility and NGL process experience considered an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting or executing turnarounds, HAZOPs, LOPAs and other high-risk operational activities.
  • Working knowledge of wells, process equipment, facilityoperationsand integrity management systems.
  • Ability to use operational systems and reporting tools, including Maximo,FieldSafe, Intelex, Learning Management System,DeltaVand PI.
  • Experience with NGL and hydrogen process equipment and facility operations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory codes and practices, including ABSArequirementswhere applicable.
  • Understanding ofIncident Command System principles and project management practices and tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share operational information with frontline teams,leadersand stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead teams through change, shiftingprioritiesand operational issues.
  • Analytical, problem-solvingand decision-making skills, with business awareness and understanding of commercial contracts.
