We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Heritage Place, At Nature's Door, as our new Resident Assistant. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Resident Assistant delivers exceptional service that enhances the ownership experience at Fairmont Heritage Place, At Nature’s Door.
- Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to Owners, Guests, and colleagues.
- Respond promptly to Owner and Guest requests, ensuring a high standard of service and follow-up.
- Assist the maintenance team with minor service and repair duties of homes and public areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including the lodge, health club, change rooms, washrooms, and pool area.
- Maintain appropriate linen and supply inventory.
- [Winter] Assist with snow removal and ensure parking lots driveways and walkways are kept safe and clear of snow.
- Monitor home and supply inventories and assist with purchasing and inventory control.
- Provide transportation for Owners and Guests using a company vehicle as required.
- Comply with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts policies and procedures.
We are looking for a candidate with secured Sea to Sky area housing. Due to our slopeside location, access to a personal vehicle is recommended, as we are not located on a transit route. All applicants require current Canadian work authorisation and a BC Driver's License.
Part-time (16.5 hours/week): – Preferred set schedule; Sunday 4:00 pm–8:30 pm, Monday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am–12:00 pm. Additional shifts may be available to cover vacations and business needs.
Qualifications
- Service focused behavior is essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation.
- Class 5 BC Driver's License in good standing.
- Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities, hospitality or a related trade is an asset.
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for work orders, inspections and communication.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team while managing competing priorities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
