Regional Sales Manager - Quebec at Groupe Touchette
Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Director the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and developing sales strategies for the independent sector in the region. The person is also responsible for leading and mentoring the sales team.
Assigned Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate the Territory Managers under the guidance and support of the Regional Sales Director
- Establish weekly touchpoint review sessions with each Territory Manager for goal setting, action deliverables and follow up purposes
- Report to Regional Sales Director on all weekly sales initiatives, updates and occurrences with the team
- Responsible to drive consistent sales performance within the region by working closely with the Territory Managers in the field each week
- Ensuring that the call planning and go to market value proposition are implemented and upheld for all Territory Managers
- Handle difficult situations with team members and clients appropriately with coaching support from Regional Sales Director if required
- Maintain constant contact with key customers to validate and ensure the effectiveness of the sales and development strategy
- Ensure the professional development and business acumen of the team through use of the DT Tire Value add proposition actions
- Responsible for annual performance reviews of the Territory Managers and administrative supporting duties
- Work with the Regional Sales Director to ensure the achievement of the company's business objectives
- Conduct strategic business reviews with TM and key influencers
- Manage all inventory, service and sales supporting business activities, Triangle meetings, Route delivery management, pricing, programs and compliances
- Manage the return of goods requests greater than 48 units with authorization of the Regional Sales Director
- Manage and Govern requesting of pricing matrix through authorization of the Regional Sales Director and following Pricing Committee process governance SOP
- Approve, authorize and signing and archiving of regular VB programs, exclusive or specialized programs are to be created and authorized by the Regional Sales Director
- Approved freight charges in alignment and approval with the Regional Sales Director
- Daily price adjustment (special price or competitive match) within same Tier of Products. Outside of similar product tiers must be approved by the Regional Sales Director
- Discount change request/customer matrix under DT4 (approval from pricing committee)
- Verification of discount change requests above DT4 (must be sent to me for final approval)
- Price adjustment for old DOT
- Brand authorization and governance for customers
Success factors
Technical Background: Your bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing and/or administration combined with your five to ten years’ experience in the automotive industry and sales management at a regional level, have given you solid credibility in the field. You therefore have in-depth knowledge of the various challenges facing a regional scale job as well as those surrounding the management of a dispersed sales team;

Not a big fan of the status quo, you make the necessary adjustments to go above and beyond dealer objectives.
