Housekeeper at Larga Kitikmeot

Larga is a residence for guests travelling from Nunavut while tending to their medical needs. Our mission is to provide a home-away-from-home managed by staff who are welcoming, friendly, approachable, trustworthy, caring, and have a strong desire and willingness to assist guests with their needs throughout the duration of their stay with us.

We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team on a casual, as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, washrooms, and common areas

• Wash, fold, and organize laundry

• Restock supplies

• Change linens and make beds

• Report damages, safety hazards, or faulty equipment

• Follow all safety and company policies

What we’re looking for

• Friendly, trustworthy, and team-oriented

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

• Able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must pass an annual Medical Clearance and a Criminal Records Check

• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals

• WHIMS, CPR/First Aid (or willingness to complete)
